서울숲 - a magic corner^^

Hi everyone ^=^

Here is another post...this time is about a corner of paradise as I call this place.

I'm talking about the Seoul Forest (서울숲)!

One day me and my friend decided to go out, hanging out at Hanriver, shopping, watching movie, dinner...  but before we decided go to see the forest, since I've never been there before. In Seoul there are lots lots of parks and they are free! You can go there: walking or some have kind of zoo inside, games like small rollercoasters made for kids etx...

We chose the wrong day haha it was rainy and we spent all day walking under the heavy rain. Anyway, it was really good day and had fun.

The Forest is located in  Seongdong-gu , so to go there, we took the Bundang Line - Seoul Forest Station followed  EXIT 3 , then go straight until you get to the large street and turn left. Cross the street and you are arrived!
It is so huge, and at the entrance gate you can choose where to go, you can choose to see : insects place, (ewwww) little deers place >3<  ,  other paths or kids games...

After that we went to Hanriver and to see the DDM plaza. Finally it was time to go to cinema watching : "the fault in our stars" very touching movie.

Shin Ramyun

Hello^^ Let's talk about food ^=^

The most common Korean students food and ...not only is the ramyun!

They eat is wether they are in office, in University, or at home during nightime if

they feel hungry.

Although it's not the healthiest food, and though is very kaloric (140kcal) I

decided to buy

a cup of this kind of Ramyun for trying and even because after some time spent

in there I begun starting to behave like them kkkk

Btw...I tried the Shin Ramyun, very famous, but also so spicy! In the cup you

can find some wooden chopsticks, dehydrated veggies, beef chips, togheter with

a red powder,  all in a small wrap.

Be careful if you can't stand spicy food..just add some not add the whole powder!! U may regret!

Here are the steps for the preparation:

-open the cup without removing the label totally,

-boil the water,

-pour the water inside the cup and try to close it with its label again,

- wait 3minutes

Ready to eat ^^))

고기구이 or Korean BBQ

Let's talk about the Korean BBQ, or 고기구이^^

I find it extremely tasty and it's the prefect way to share it with friends while

talking and laughing or drinking.

For dinner I went in a typical BBQ restaurant in Gangnam with my friend, I

wanted to eat  Mul-naengmyeon (Cold noodles with chilled broth and ice)

and my friend wanted to eat BBQ..so we chose to go to this restaurant, which

cook both BBQ and Naengmyon.

The served us lots of 고기 (meat) such as: 갈비살 ( galbisal= beef), 삼겹살

(samgyupsal = pork belly)

etc...together with the typical and usual side dishes (반찬)..such as : 밥,

(cooked rice), guk (soup), gochujang , kimchi, mushrooms, shrimps,

soy,  and finally the Noodles

we ordered.

This is how the restaurant looks for inside, it's Always full so we had to wait a

bit before sitting inside. Those kind of "seats" have a special use hahah guess

what??

They are made for putting bags inside.

Almost all korean restaurants that serve grilled meat has a grill place at the

center of the table.

And...after the meat is cooked.. you will need to use a scissor for cutting it into

small pieces, prepare your chopsticks and...

voilà...ready to eat^^

Haru

Beginning ^^

Hello I'm back!^^

....since I didn't have enough time to write I will do it now. ^^

Actually..it's really time to take plane and fly to Korea ^^))

From one side I'm so glad and excited to go there...but from the other hand

also a bit worried about that. And I will miss my family a LOT! ^^
By the way, let's talk about the preparations!!

Packing up is Always a mess for me...it stressed me so badly, bcos afraid of

forgetting something.
*even though I Always forget something at home*

I tried to bring not so many clothes as I always did but I limited my will to put

clothes infinitely

kkkkkk this is also bcos I know I will buy in there xDxD

I did the first stop-over in Munich and from there I took the plane to Incheon,

from there if you already know your way, you can take the Limo Bus that, can

be found right outside

of the airport or a taxi. It's up to you if u want to pay 60$ taxi or just 10$

bus :P
