True friends can live farway ~

This time I'm not talking about my Korean friends but about an Italian friend, Amity.
She's a really nice person, she tries always to make you smile, especially with her super funny posts and I'm so happy I could met her!

BigBang's pin <3

Actually we've never met face to face, she lives quite faraway from my home but we could grow our relationship thanks to the forum (Doramisti Anonimi) and fb ~
She's the owner of a beautiful, interesting and useful blog : Dreaming of Wonderland , in which she writes about her experience in Korea (last August and this winter she went there!). Click on the link and see her blog...NOW! <3

The lovely letter and T.O.P's phonecharming ~

She went this winter to Seoul, to see her boyfriend and brought with her a little present for her friends ~ I'm really touched by her thought, it's amazing when people think of you and make you a special person even if you've never met before!

감사언니! lol

Oppa Oppa Magazine - the first meeting

On September 9th there was the first metting organized by Oppa Oppa Magazine. What is it? You don't know? It's the first Italian webzine exclusively dedicated to Kpop, Korean and Japan. It's pretty well-known in Italy and it gives a great support to all the fans that cannot speak well English moreover the famous website Korea.com (where you can find all the latest news about Kpop artists and Korean actors) has dedicated to it an article! (ARTICLE here)
But, ehy, let's jump back in time... the first time I had read the magazine I was immediately attracted by the beauty of the graphics (it has a strong effect on the reader moreover photos and articles are organized in a perfect way) and the novelty of the magazine.

The group at Duomo square!

Coming back to us, the staff had decided to organize this meeting in Milan. We met at the Duomo square and then we set off for the Sforzesco castle. There we found a place in the shadow of some huge trees and we started eating.
The girls of the magazine team immediately gave us a little present (thanks also to the collaboration of Kaido Italia): a random idol's picture and a Kpop phone charming. I have to say that my phone charming was perfect: Taecyeon from 2PM Baby whereas the photo represented Yesung from SuJu and, after  some time I was able to change him for Dongwoon from B2ST ~ In my attept to change Yesung I really looked like a pusher LOL

- Drawings game -
After this little moment of craziness (yeah we were a bit crazy, busy to change our photos or phonechains with the one's of other artists XD) the games started! We were divided into groups and mine was composed by my two sisters, my two friends and other 3 guys. Each group's leader had to draw one bracelet and... WOOT WOOT our leader drawed the BIG BANG's one *___* so we were the BIG BANG group ~ thanks Nov, good choice!
Unluckly for me the game finished at the first round for this reason I started helping a bit my teammates and Oppa Oppa Magazine's staff.

Bursting the balloons ~

The leaders of the event and the lottery's numbers!

My trrrrreeeeasures ^c^
As the games endet it was the time for the lottery ~ I had chosen previously a number, the one that let me won the ticket for the Music Bank in Paris and *drums' rolls* I won a poster of my leader, G-Dragon ~ the Good Luck decided to be nice to me that time *-*

On the right one of the Magazine's staff... are you enjoying  torturing people with your questions?XD
The organizers of the event had had a great fantasy to create or recreate the games (some of them in fact were taken from Korean programs) and I would like to thank them for the amazing day spent all together! Gurls, you are so nice and friendly! Thanks for your hard work with the magazine :D

The last group pic!

Do not forget to download the magazine (completely for free) from this link: Magazine downloads

6th August, meeting Korean friends!

On August 6th my friends (Fix and Miyu) and I met a Korean friend in Milan.
Before that date, Fix and I had spoken with her on a social network; she had told us that she would go to Milan on August 6th to spend there a whole afternoon (her trip was organized by an agency) so we took the opportunity to meet her :)
The day had come and my friends and I went to the Central station in order to pick her. She immediately recognized us and with a big smile on her face, she came to greet us. Then YounJeong, this is her name, left her luggage at the station “luggage left” place and introduced us to an other girl of her group, Suyeon, met during the trip. So our guided tour through the beautiful (?) Milan could start.
As we sprung from the underground exit, the one in the square right in front of the Duomo (the Cathedral), our friends were astonished and together exclaimed “jeongmal yeppeoyo” (“it's so beautiful” I hope it's correct XD). They were really impressed by the beauty of the cathedral!
The second stop was a short trip in the Rinascente shop and in the Galleria, then we wended to the Museo del Novecento. A really curious thing for me was the fact our Korean friends' appreciation for Fontana's works, which, personally, I don't like (but I'm not the only one XD).
They were incredulous at the vision of “Artist's shit” by Manzoni and they took so many pictures at the last floor where the window faces directly the Cathedral and its square.
Finished our tour we enjoyed a delicious gelato (ice-cream) and while chatting, we took some photos with the polaroid I long for so many months! YounJeong said that her polaroid had cost more or less 10 euros and the tape had had the same price.
[Note : buying one of these cameras as I reach Korea ]
Talking about the age, I discovered that Suyeon is one year older than me so I started calling her “Eonni” ( well, saying the truth, the first thing that came out of my mouth was “Noona”, mian haeyo Eonni <3)
After this short break we went to the Brera Art Accademy because Eonni would visit it, she is thinking of moving to Italy and study art!
Unfortunately our time finished at the end of the Accademy tour, it was a different afternoon, funny and interesting at the same time ~

Here some of the topics of our speeches:
  • They were stonished because Milan doesn't have skyscrapes, it's completely different from Seoul.

  • Miyu asked them if bullying is common in high schools. She had watched a drama in which a boy was victim of bullying because the plate with his name wasn't in the right place, so she had this terrible (? XD) doubt. YounJeong asked that in schools there are strict rules and sometimes there are also episodes of bullying.

  • I asked information about the military service and both said that for them is kind of sad seeing people they know leaving for about 2 years. Boys leave their activities and/or studies and, as they come home, they resume them from where they have left them.

  • They talked about plastic surgery which is really common in Seoul. In fact, it was created a web-site only about it in order to share photos and information about people's surgery experience.

  • An other theme was the thinnes. Eonni is little and very thin where as YounJeong is pretty tall but thin too for the Korean standards. Do you know CL of 2NE1? Well, YounJeong is as thin as her, she's not the usual skin and bones girl, indeed, she looks so good as she is. Instead, she told us that in Korea she is considered a “fat” person. My friends and I were speechless, she's so thin!!She said also that many celebrities have liposuction done to remove excess fat and she held SNSD up as an example (You don't say?XD)

  • I asked them what was that ice-cream looking thing that I had seen many times before in dramas, the one that the waiters mix with some different flavours and they replied that it was bingsu ~ finally I know its name!

Ah, I've almost forgot to write that we gave YounJeong a bag full of traditional Italian sweets as a present where as she gave me and Fix two little mirrors. Mine represents the “Hyang Won Jung” , the pavilion of the Gyengbok Palace and Fix's one has a kayagum (Korean traditional instrument) player on it ~ thanks dear for the present!

Vi giuro, rimanemmo a bocca aperta!

KTO ~ Korea Tourism Organization

KTO, acronym of Korea Tourism Organization, is a government organization dedicated to spreading helpful information you need about the Land of the Morning Calm.
You can visit its website here : Visitkorea . The website is in English but is available in different languages, such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish.
My intention is not a complete description of Visit Korea website nor listing all the useful information, news and curiosities you can find as the post would turn out too loooong and boring (?). <(。_。)> Mianhae!
I've noticed that many people who are interested in Korea and hope for a travel there soon don't know where they can buy a guide, I'm talking about the Italians because here Korea and its culture (unfortunately) is not so well-known but my post will be helpful for all those who are in searching of some guides.

No, niente italiano (>.<)

Some months ago, on a friend's adivice, I registered on Visit Korea website because if you want to, it can send you for free some brochures about the country!
Here the steps (Step In Step In "ヽ ('▽`) ノ " ~ Kara's song has just jumped in my mind) you need to follow for the registration and to obtain the guides:

1. Open the link I gave you before (the website one), the home page of the website will be opened. In the upper right there are some links in white. Click on the "Sing Up" button.

2. Now you have to choose your Membership. Choose the "Individual Membership" by clicking on the "Sing-up now" button on the right.

Ora dovete scegliere la vostra Membership. Scegliete la "Individual Membership" cliccando sul bottone "Sing-up now" sulla destra.

3. Agree to all the Terms and Conditions then an other page will be opened. Fill the blanked spaces with your personal information (do NOT forget your address!) and click on the "Submit" button.

4. You will receive a mail within few minutes, it lets you activate your account.

5. Once the account is activeted you have to go to the "Home Page" and go on the right side of the screen where there's the "Quick Menu". There you have to click on "Request a Brochure" and choose the guide you want to have (make sure it's the free one)!

6. The last but not the least step is... waiting for your guides d(-_^)

I think the content of the package and the language of the guides could be different from country to country. Example: I'm Italian, I have received the complete guide book in Italian, an other one full of photos of the countries during the different seasons in English, Korea's map and a little brochure of the important events and festivals in French (language that I don't speak XD). My friend was luckier because she's also received a food recipes book!

Il Sempreverde ~ Korean and Japanese Shop

Il Sempreverde, I always associate this name to the words kindness and sweetness, probably because it's been months since I've discovered it and people cannot feel other feelings except for these ones ~
The first time I went there was the day after the Kpop Night. When we finished eating at Gaya restaurant (I'll talk about it an other day ~), my friend Tami took me to this little shop, close to the metro station “Loreto”.
As we entered the Ajumma (아줌마) , owner of the shop, greeted us and my friend went to her in order to talk a bit (I've forgot to say that she speaks Korean, you damn!XD) leaving me to admire the shop : little but well-stocked! There's everything from the beer to chips, from ramyun to ice-cream (yeah, there's the famous Korean ice-cream, the one wrapped up in plastic that everyone has surely seen in many dramas :D) and also some Japanese products.

Chamisul Soju ~
at first it has a strong taste but then...
you will finish it in few minutes ~
At the end I decided to buy a little bottle of Ginseng (people say it's good for your health), an other one of Soju – 소주 (I couldn't resist XD), a box of Lotte Chalteok Pie (sweets made of glutinous rice, with a chocolate coating and heart) and a strawberry drink of the super famous Pororo as well as a little box of glutinous rice sweets, that we ate full of happiness at the Argentina square ~

Lotte Chalteok Pie ~ yummy :3
The prices are medium-high since the products are imported and difficult to find...
... but, expensive or not, going there is a pleasure, the owner is super nice and has a l o v e l y child. When my friend said him goodbye in Korean, he bowed so deeply that only few mm divided his head from the floor <3
Moreover the Ajumma gave me as a gift two glasses for the Soju...
well, cheers - 건배 (geonbae) ! :3

My strawberry flavor Pororo drink ~

quindi, Cin cin - 건배 (geonbae) ! :3

This is the shop's address :
Questo è l'indirizzo del negozio :

Il Sempreverde
Via Annibale Caretta, 3
20131 Milano

Where is it? Let's look at the MAP !

Andamiro (안다미로) ~

I wanna share my feelings with you guys ~ I'm not so good in sharing them, I prefer to keep them only for me BUT, this time...I NEED to share them!
As you probably know on 14th and 15th Big Bang (빅뱅), my favorite group, performed in London while I was at home all alone ~ I was feeling really really bad because I wanted to see them so badly but I couldn't achieve it! >.<
One of the few little thing that has cheered me is Andamiro (안다미로) .

Yesterday (Dec. 16th) she retweeted one of my tweets to her ~ I couldn't believe it...This morning I was at the uni waiting for my turn (I had to go to an office to do some stuff) and...as I opened my mail I saw the one which said that she had retweeted me!*-* I was so happy!
Little things like this can change your day in a better way ~ My "depression" for the concert hasn't disappeared but this amazing girl helped me a bit!
Thank youuuu Andamiro!

But, ehy! Who's Andamiro?? Some of you are wondering it, right?
She's a great Korean solo singer ~
She debuted on the Korean music world last April with the 'oldies-like' digital single " Don't Ask (말고) " ...

... but received more success with her Mini-Album "Hypnotize", which is, in my opinion, an addictive and well-done album!
Here the MV of the main song, "Hypnotize" (which gives the name to the album) :

It's addictive and catchy, isn't it? └(★o★)┐

If you want to, you can follow her on twitter, here there's her account : @wmj5873
Do not forget to support her with all your love because she deserves it ! (◕‿◕✿)

È coinvolgente e super orecchiabile, non è vero? └(★o★)┐

KPop Night in Milan

Thanks to a common friend I had talked on FB to Tami, a friend of mine; on May 26th she invited me to her house (even if we had never seen each other) in order to go together to the Kpop Night. That was the first time for me at a Kpop Night in Milan; it was organized by KpopItalia and took place at the Korean restaurant "Hana".
We went to the restaurant at about 10 p.m., we immediately noticed a group of people outside it  and than we entered even if we didn't know where to go exactly because it was the first time for both ( ̄(エ) ̄)ゞ.  So we asked the guys outside and they told us to go downstairs, there there was the place of the disco night!
As we came in we were surrounded by loud Kpop music, a fantastic sensation, I was so happy to listening to it in a place different from my house!

During the night we also celebrate KpopItalia's birthday (ノ´▽`)ノ♪ with a tasty piece of cake and a glass (which misteriously became two) of wine ~

I recomend to all of you, who live in Milan or near it and have never been there, to go to a Kpop Night just to have a different night, enjoying Kpop and meeting new people ~ KpopItalia keeps on orgazining this kind of event, don't miss it!
d(-_^)
